As a UX Researcher you are curious, insightful and have a thoughtful yet analytical approach to get to the source of any problem. You are the science behind our project development life cycle. You listen and facilitate to get to the root of any problem. We need someone that can identify user’s needs and balance them against client business goals. At the core you are a listener, facilitator, collaborator, and more importantly a researcher. You are passionate about getting the data, understanding how things work, and solving problems. Through our discovery process we interview our clients to gain a better understanding of the problem at hand. Then the project team works together to identify the right combination of methods to tackle that problem. You will work alongside talented and diverse group of designers, digital strategists, front-end developers and programmers. Below is a breakdown of your day and desired qualifications. Don’t rule yourself out if you don’t have ALL the skills. We are looking for passionate, driven people that care about their craft and improving every day. 

Your Day to Day:

Identify requirements, set goals, study users and help craft experiences that translate business and user goals into engaging experiences

Design studies to capture user behaviors and attitudes

Document feature behavior with a high detail and provide recommendations based on analysis

Conduct research using a wide variety of qualitative methods and a subset of quantitative methods, such as surveys, A/B and multivariate testing

Generate insights that both fuel ideation and evaluate designs

Recommend UX methods from toolkit to use on projects

Maintain and help form UX capabilities by proposing and documenting relevant UX methods


Familiar with usability concepts, heuristics, relevant literature and UX best practices

Knowledge of software for generating wireframes, wireflows and user specs - Balsamiq, Omnigraffle, Axure

Experience with user research: Preparing and analyzing online surveys, moderating and summarizing user interviews, conducting and analyzing card sorts

Research ability to help support concepts

Ability to ask, as well as answer, meaningful and impactful questions

Experience gathering and documenting business, functional and end user requirements

Solid understanding of makeup and function of interactive websites, mobile apps, and web apps

Successful track record in conducting stakeholder interviews and running collaborative workshops

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to work independently

Great attitude and plays well with others, collaboration is key

Passion for getting better and deeming a project success only when business and user goals are met

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

This job requires routine desk and computer work. No travel is required.
