What you’ll work on:

Assess existing sites/properties for usefulness, usability, visual design, content, and branding.

Work closely with UX Researchers to understand who the user is, what his problem is, what the key goal or metric of the program is, and create UI wireframes that solve the problem and achieve the goal

Analyze task flows, task decomposition's and create optimal Task Flows

Develop screen details (i.e. wireframes) depicting all elements on a unique screen type, including the content, functional, and navigation specifications

Continue to rapidly iterate on UI Wireframes until the solution is validated

Create prototypes of micro interactions as needed

Assist in developing Navigation Models, Primary and Secondary Navigation structures.

Drive consistency across Ipreo products

Drive simple, clean, minimal, elegant solutions

Apply Nngroup's 10 usability heuristics to each product, feature, workflow

Identify and document meaningful patterns from user research and UX audit findings

Find ways to reduce extra screens via animation, etc.

Prepare and demo completed tasks at bi-weekly demo

Work closely with Visual Design to transition each task

Drive stakeholder approvals on Interaction artifacts

Stay current with UI trends (Sidebar, Dribbble, UI Movement, Marketing Experiments, Baymard)

What we look for:

Bring your passion and creativity to work

Minimum of 5 years of experience in interaction design

Excellent interpersonal skills for communication inside and outside the company

Good organization skills and capability to multi-task

Strong critical thinking skills

Agency experience preferred

Knowledge of the agile software development process

Degree with an emphasis in HCI, Human Factors, Cognitive Science, Cognitive Psychology, Psychology, Computer Science, or related discipline

Proficient to expert in: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Visio, OmniGraffle, and/or Sketch

Deep understanding of HTML, CSS

Experience creating interaction prototypes using Axure, Invision, Atomic, or similar

Prior experience in UI design for mobile devices a plus
