The business unit security team is looking for a Senior User Experience Designer/Information Architect who can influence the design, function and ultimately, customer experience for the client. You’ll be delivering designs and prototypes for a fast paced team that uses a wide variety of technologies to create powerful tools and best in class user experiences for our customers. This group directs its efforts to full life cycle security efforts and research Innovation including new ways of Visualizing Data.


This group functions very much as a startup so the need for a critical thinker who has STRONG attention to detail and the ability to be proactive trumps the technology stack.


Our information architect will create, develop and implement user interface web applications. They will work with developers and stakeholders to ensure proper development is executed and visual design is achieved.


Responsibilities:

-Compares and contrasts designing responsively for a broad array of form factors and devices versus designing within proprietary technologies or native applications for specific platforms.

-Consults on user mental models and business impact of user experience design.

-Consults with others on optimizing mental, visual and manual work load.

-Demonstrates knowledge of tools and techniques for user-centric design.

-Develops and coaches others on information architecture tools, techniques, trends, and approaches.

-Establishes full project life cycle plans for complex projects; may have multiple platforms.

-Has tactical responsibility for completion and implementation of multiple major initiatives.

-Executes vision, goals and direction of team/ organization

-Recommends components to support the design direction and suggests alternate options

-Develops a technology architecture for product presentation layer

-Executes vision, goals and direction of team/ organization

-Provides design solutions for a broad array of form factors and devices versus designing within proprietary technologies or native applications for specific platforms.

-Develops and coaches others on design tools, techniques, trends, and approaches.

-Influences design in a positive way.

-Contributes to Style Guide in significant way such as writing a new page.


The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:


- 5-7+ years of web design experience

- Extensive experience in web design and development (CSS/3, Grunt, HTML/5, HTML 5, iOS, JavaScript, etc.)

- Fluency with design and prototyping tools (Sketch, Fireworks, Flash, Illustrator, In Design, etc.)

- Business and technical analysis and solution design

- Strong communication and facilitation skills

- Excellent organizational skills

- Familiarity with software delivery methodologies
