    • Work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment 

      • Independently own small- to medium-sized projects, including initial project planning, managing timelines, and communicating project status
      • Create wireframes, concepts, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs to effectively communicate design solutions
        Run quick research experiments to validate assumptions and inform design decisions

    • Communicate design work within the user experience team and with cross-functional teams

      • Present designs in a clear, confident, and concise manner to diverse audiences

      • Explain rationale for design decisions within a larger context

      • Frequently seek diverse feedback, receive and weigh with a growth mindset, and integrate as appropriate 

    • Collaborate within the user experience team and with cross-functional teams

      • Collaborate closely with research and contribute to research strategy

      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and others to ensure design solutions meet business and user needs 

    • Provide solutions with strategic intention

      • Understand business goals in regards to the product area

      • Identify opportunities for research in your product area and surface those needs to leadership

      • Introduce new, forward-thinking ideas and solutions in order to push our product experiences

      • Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise

    • Demonstrate subject matter expertise in user-centered design

      • Understand how research and design fit into the broader product development process

      • Advocate for the user when working with team members across functional areas; Provide coaching and mentorship on how to apply design thinking and human-centered design principles

      • Assist junior designers by providing guidance and feedback on design work

      • Stay up-to-date with design trends and best practices

    Basic Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design, including experience in:

      • User-centered design methods and techniques (e.g., user research and testing, data analysis, customer journey maps, etc.)

      • Designing for software applications for multiple platforms (e.g., web, mobile, desktop)

      • Working and collaborating in Agile development environments using management and issue tracking software (e.g., Jira)

    • Bachelor's degree in visual design, interaction design, human factors, human-computer interaction, or equivalent professional experience

    • Solid portfolio showcasing product design experience and process

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Working knowledge of web technologies and frameworks (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React); experience with front-end coding a plus

    • Proficient in creating low- to high-fidelity wireframes, designs concepts, and prototypes using industry tools such as Figma and Adobe CreativeCloud

    • Strong understanding of design thinking, user-centered design, problem solving, and design systems

    • Passion for design, users, and collaboration with designers and cross-functional team members

    Job Requirements

    •    Minimum of 8 years designing enterprise product experiences
    •    An online portfolio demonstrating advanced, wide-ranging experiences
    •    In-depth professional knowledge of latest interaction patterns for web, user-centered design process, design principles and techniques
    •    Experience using Figma to create low to high fidelity prototypes and mockups
    •    Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead ideation sessions and present a strong rationale for design decisions
    •    Individual contributor experience leading teams with complex across-feature/theme interaction
    •    Ability to influence day-to-day design and research work that spans multiple themes
    •    Ability to balance needs of concurrent projects and work effectively with cross-functional teams
    •    Proven track record of defining and guiding features and themes to fit with an overall portfolio
    •    Experience understanding the value of, collaborating with, and leveraging user experience research

    Preferred qualifications:
    •    Master's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience
    •    Experience advocating for user experience in defining and prioritizing themes across UX and engineering teams
    •    Demonstrable experience with complex and modern web designs with the ability to create meaningful and delightful experiences
    •    Experience maintaining and evolving design systems
    •    Working knowledge of current web-based technologies and frameworks (e.g. CSS, Angular, React) to inform design decisions

    Responsibilities:

    1. User research and analysis:

    • Conduct user research to understand user behaviors, needs, and motivations.
    • Audit and evaluate existing content and functionality

    2. UX strategy & information architecture:

    • Develop information architecture solutions that optimize user flows and enhance overall usability.

    3. Interaction design:

    • Develop interactive prototypes to demonstrate and test design concepts.

    5. Collaboration:

    Qualifications

    Preferred skills:

    • Experience with responsive design and mobile app design.

    • Knowledge of CMS platforms including Drupal and Wordpress.
    • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in UX design.
    • Certification in UX design or related field is a plus.

    Education and experience requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in information systems, information architecture, computer science or similar field of study is required.
    • 5-7 years proven experience as a UX Architect or similar role.
    • Strong portfolio showcasing successful UX design projects.
    • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
    • Knowledge of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and usability testing.
    • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, including ability to present work to clients and executives
    • Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and priorities, work independently and be a self-starter.
