A designer's job doesn’t stop after the interface loads, it’sonly just begun. Part of being a formidable interactive designer is understanding the medium you are designing for, recognizing its weaknesses, and pushing its strengths. Static design tools will not get you there. Modern designers need to design in time as well as space if they want to engage their visitors. Jason will help you understand how you can evolve your skills using new interactive prototyping tools, discuss techniques, and show you why the future of engagement is anything but static.
For World Usability Day 2014, Triangle UXPA is partnering with Triangle Interactive Marketing Association to bring Jason Cranford Teague to speak about this year's theme: engagement.
Jason brings a wealth of experience to the topic thanks to his experience as UX Lead at Gannett Digital, which oversees over 100 websites and media properties including USA Today. He has spoken at events such as SXSW and written books such as the CSS3 Visual Quickstart Guide and should make an outstanding speaker for TriUXPA's largest event of the year.
This year's event is made possible thanks to partnership with TIMA. In addition to admission for TriUXPA members, TIMA members will also be invited to this year's event.
