    • 7+ Years of Experience in UX/ UI and Design, including Team Lead experience.
    • Experience designing digital products across varied users, business problems, and devices (websites, digital interfaces, web applications, native mobile apps, and more).
    • Understanding of and effective contribution to driving and applying UX/UI design processes, not limited to experience maps, user journeys, interaction models, flows, wireframes, rapid prototyping methods (ranging from paper sketching to digital prototypes).
    • Strong communication, presentation and facilitation skills, both internally and client facing.
    • A desire to mentor and inspire other designers as well as comfort in giving / receiving constructive feedback as part of continuous design iteration and improvement.
    • Proficiency in design tools (ie Sketch, Illustrator, Photoshop, Invision, etc), knowledge of HTML/CSS standards, and a deep understanding of the browser’s impact on design.
    • Ability to think strategically long term and on the fly - leading while also working on something unsolved as well as capable of working “under the hood.”

    Essential Functions:
    • Produce high-quality UX/UI and design work within the context of a project for the purpose of supporting client business and strategic goals and promoting design internally and with the client.
    • Have deep involvement in all aspects of discovery for design within projects: research, inspiration gathering, brainstorm, strategy defining, concept development, prototyping, etc.
    • Support the Growth team in estimates, demos, workshops and proposals and increase awareness among potential clients and employees in the local market.
    • Lead and provide direction to other designers within the context of a project.
    • Provide active and passive mentorship, professional development, and discipline mastery opportunities to department personnel.
    • Support hiring process through proactive engagement of design community, portfolio review, and leading of interviews.
    • Engage with the design and entrepreneur communities via spoken and written content in support of company awareness and other company initiatives.

    PURPOSE
    The UX Simulation Business Analyst I position will work with a project team to visualize, analyze, document, and manage business requirements throughout the life of the project. This position will adhere to established Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Computer System Validation (CSV) procedures, where applicable, in identifying innovative solutions that meet the specified requirements and add value to the business. As a member of project teams, the UX Simulation Business Analyst will facilitate communication and awareness of the standards and quality expectations of the stakeholders. He or she will also be the User Experience (UX) voice in application definition. This person will work to formulate and define the User Experience on projects: creation of personas; information architecture; creation of content/site maps; design of low/high fidelity wireframes; creation of user flow diagrams and clickable prototypes; and UI design. This is a high-profile role that requires strong communication skills and attention to detail.

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    •Perform requirements gathering and analysis in order to provide high quality and detailed requirements, ensuring the closest involvement with, and agreement from, the user community
    •Create prototypes and simulations to provide an accurate, graphical user interface representation, thereby facilitating successful solution design and development
    Resolve conflicting end-user requirements
    •Follow Software Development Life-Cycle (SDLC) and Computer System Validation (CSV) procedures, as appropriate
    •Assist with process modeling to clarify business requirements, and to enhance or re-engineer business processes, prior to, or in parallel with, solution design and implementation, as necessary
    •Collaborate with UI Visual Designer(s) on projects to establish the overall UI design specifications
    •Collaborate with Global IT Solutions functional groups by adhering to established processes to ensure that business requirements are delivered through successful project implementation of optimal, cost-effective solutions
    •Collaborate with developers to ensure adherence to business requirements and UI design specifications
    •Assist in the gathering of initial Business Case requirements & other pre-project activities (e.g., high-level requirements, project scope, objectives)

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • UX Strategists work to expertly lead and direct the interaction design strategy (web, mobile, applications) of large-scale program level initiatives by partnering with clients and teams to align the strategy to the needs of the end user, business goals, and technical limitations.
    • UX Strategists create impact by building immersive, compelling experiences with digital at their core. You will design, prototype, and execute delightful human-centered experiences which act as the interface between an organization’s customers and their products, services, and brand.

    Once here you will:

    • Create world-class strategies for a wide range of user, business and marketing goals by leading program-level initiatives.
    • Define complex problems expertly by using research, conceptualization (sketches/wireframes), information architecture, and by having a precise eye for detail on the execution.
    • Work in partnership with cross-divisional teams and senior leaders. Take into account every aspect of the user’s experience, business goals, and technical limitations to coordinate and deliver design, prototype, documentation, and strategy to the highest possible standards which align to modern methodologies and best practices.
    • Design inspirational, useful, and usable experiences by placing the client/investor first while balancing business goals and technical limitations. Have expert knowledge in user-centered design principles, visual design, user behavior, interactions and the client’s brand.
    • Oversees the project team on day-to-day operations of project deliverables, and problem resolution. Coordinates project schedules, assignments and work flows.
    • Expertly present and sell design solutions to clients, senior management, project teams, partners, and stakeholders; ensure the success of the strategy and the ability to champion the best possible user experience.
    • Utilize expert understanding of the latest technology and devices (including programming languages, network infrastructure, processes, web and mobile application development) to produce technically achievable and efficient interactive solutions.
    • Create sitemaps, sketches and wireframes.

    What we’re looking for:

    • 7+ years of experience in user experience industry/field.
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in human-centered design or a related field.
    • Expert in all areas of user experience design (information architecture, interaction design, visual design, prototype engineering, content, user experience).
    • Proven experience solving complex communication problems and designing world-class experiences for large-scale programs.
    • Expert communication skills (story-telling, visualization) and the ability to get buy-in on those ideas within a large organization.
    • In-depth knowledge of research, competitive landscape, and test methods (A/B, multivariate testing).
    • A business acumen to set the UX vision, strategy and methodologies applied.
    • Proven experience using data (both quantitative and qualitative) analysis techniques to inform design.
