    We at NetApp are building out a UX practice within the StorageGRID team and are seeking a talented and passionate UX Designer. You will partner with the product team and engineering to solve complex UX problems of managing and operating a geo-distributed storage system with hundreds of petabytes. If you are a passionate UX designer and looking to solve complex technical problems, this is the job for you.

Since you maintain supreme levels of communications with your peers, we won’t inundate you with process and documentation.     Job Requirements
    Essential Functions:

    • Develop a deep understanding of user problems, objectives, and requirements
    • Create an intuitive, efficient, and delightful experience via UI mockups and prototypes
    • Execute all user experience design stages from concept to final hand-off to development team
    • Advise front-end engineers on UX/UI implementation best practices - Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (eg, responsiveness)

    Job Requirements:

    • Expertise in standard UX software such as InVision and Balsamiq
    • Working HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are required; ideally Angular - Experience with user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, and addressing usability concerns
    • Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colors, fonts and layouts

    Education

    • 0-3 years of experience of UI/UX design
    • Master’s degree in design, human-computer interaction, or related field such as industrial design or computer science

    • You are proficient with UX/UI software such as Axure, Balsamiq, Sketch, Photoshop, etc.

    The Opportunity

Three Ships is seeking a motivated UX professional to take on an instrumental role in improving customer experience and onsite conversion for our growing portfolio of home and auto websites.

    As a member of the Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) and Web Development team, you’ll be working with PPC and SEO analysts, developers and designers to help make substantial UX improvements to our sites and landing pages.     The Role
    The UX Associate will:

    1. Conduct full-funnel site performance and competitive analysis.
    2. Identify opportunities for optimization and create recommendations and designs for conversion rate optimization experimentation.
    3. Work with internal stakeholders to gather and define requirements/stories and UX designs for new website launches.
    4. Launch and report on the performance of AB and time series tests.

    What your resume and portfolio show
    2-3 years of experience working as a UXD or in UX website optimization using customer analytics, AB and multivariate testing technologies to make commercial improvements. Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in Business, Marketing or Data Analytics. Deep understanding of User-Centered design principles and experience applying it in a business setting. Experience translating competitive, data and user research findings into business recommendations. Track record of meeting and exceeding performance targets. Ability to take initiative and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
