TriUXPA Social Impact exists to make human centered design more accessible to students, community groups, and socially focused organizations across North Carolina. Our mission is to create opportunities, strengthen communities, and support meaningful change through design education, mentorship, and collaborative initiatives.

In November 2025, TriUXPA partnered with UNC FLUX to host a World Usability Day design challenge centered on finding a solution for marginalized populations in the event of a systems collapse. More than 60 students immersed themselves in research, ideation, and rapid prototyping while receiving guidance from mentors.
