  • 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
  • Atlantic BT, 2121 RDU Center Drive, Suite 200, Morrisville, NC, 27560

**Rescheduled to February 7th! **

**PLEASE NOTE THE NEW LOCATION**

Atlantic BT is in a new space in Morrisville.

Address: 2121 RDU Center Dr, Morrisville NC 27560.

exploreUX, Sketch App Triangle, and Crop are co-hosting our first Tools n Techniques event of the year! We’ll dive into the Sketch app with a handful of lightning talks. Two lucky attendees will win Sketch licenses! In the past few years, the design community has embraced Sketch. It’s a vector-based tool for designing websites and mobile apps. Not only is it easy to use, but it’s also a powerful tool. Join us for an evening of lightning talks to learn about some of these tricks and plug-ins that can improve your Sketch game!

Lightning talks are 5-minute long, fast-paced talks, where each presenter gets only 20 slides, and the slides automatically advance every 15 seconds. The brevity of these talks make them focused and informative.

“Tools and Techniques" Series

Each month, we have an event based around a theme (e.g., user research, Sketch plug-ins, etc.) and have speakers from the community give presentations on tools/techniques for that theme. If the opportunity presents itself, we’ll try to have an activity too. We really want this series to be tailored to our community, so we want to: hear your theme ideas, have you present (yes, I’m sure you have a tool/technique to share), and have your company host an event at the office! Feel free to reach out to us.

Agenda:

• 6:30-7:00 – Sign-in, grab food (pizza), networking
