Talk Description

The best thing about models is also what makes them quite dangerous when used incorrectly: all models are wrong. Which is to say, all models are a departure from "reality" — they all use abstraction, exaggeration and selective emphasis in the service of understanding. What kinds of models are best for developing information architectures? How do these models inform the work of user experience designers? Join Dan Klyn to find out!
