Triangle UXPA and Crop are teaming up for this month’s community event! The theme of the event is “The Future of UX."
As we all know the state of UX as we know it is changing, and fast! Over the last few years we've seen a significant rise in the next generation of mobile apps that take advantage of new technology. What does it even mean to be a UX designer in this ever-changing climate? How do we adapt? Staying on top of new technologies, trends and best practices is tough on your own, so why not get together with other local UXers and join us for Talal Obeid's talk about Progressive Web Apps for Lean Startups (or The World Wide Web & The Pursuit of Appiness). Talk Description
The web is maturing as a medium but it has always come with its own set of advantages over native platforms. This talk argues that the web is a superior medium for products that seek a wide reaching validation of their basic assumptions but also established products and services that seek to completely own the experience of their offering. Learn more about Progressive Web Apps, why they are good for your developers, your business, and your customers.
