This month, instead of a pre-recorded webinar, we have the opportunity for an in-person discussion and demonstration by LCI Tech, a local provider of digital accessibility testing and consulting solutions. The LCI Tech team will share how blind and visually impaired people use screen readers and screen magnification to engage with digital content.
Today, nearly 20% of Americans live with a disability — and digital content is difficult or impossible for them to navigate, understand and consume. However, there are applied methods for designing digitally equitable content that creates a universal experience that is inclusive of people who are blind or visually impaired, deaf or hard of hearing, or those with cognitive and/or physical disabilities, such as the inability to use a mouse.
