Speed Networking on World Usability Day

Event Description

Miss mingling with other UX professionals? Join us for a free virtual session of Speed Networking on November 12th, World Usability Day! 

Each participant will spend 5 minutes talking to other UX professionals/hopefuls and will then automatically be matched with a different participant. 

Tips for Successful Speed Networking: 

• This is a chance to show off your elevator speeches! Craft a compelling introduction about yourself and your future career path.
• Ask thoughtful questions such as: 
• • Are you excited about any recent projects?
  • What made you decide to come to this event tonight? 
  • What originally inspired you to get involved with UX?
  • What are you most excited about in terms or your career next steps or the future of our industry? 
  • What's your perspective on human centered AI? (the theme of this year's World Usability Day) 
• Exchange professional contact information and don't forget to follow up!

6:30pm:  Live Drawing for Giveaways

Giveaways
Three lucky participants will receive a copy of The UX Careers Handbook by Cory Lebson. A live drawing will take place at the end of the event.

In previous years, SAS has generously sponsored World Usability Day events for Triangle UXPA. Although we will not be able to meet in person or on their campus this year we would like to acknowledge their contributions to our organization.
