Description

A retrospective look at how a modular ecosystem for connectivity was re-designed within Optum. During the talk you’ll learn about the factors that influenced the design, how challenges of limited feedback were overcome, and how collaboration enabled the acceptance of designs.

Bio:

Jamal has been with Optum for over 5 years. He is the Senior UX design lead for the Optum Data Exchange and Recovery Transformation. Jamal has over 20 years of design & development experience, with 14 years focused on user-centered design & agile. He has a Masters in Library Science (MLS) and Masters in Business Administration (MBA). He’s had formal UX training from Menlo Innovations in Ann Arbor, MI and he’s been Pragmatic Marketing Certified since 2008.
