Two Lowe's UX team members from the Charlotte area will discuss the cyclical process of how Lowe's website designs grow from concept to design to testing to refinement to testing to production Wednesday night in Cary. They will discuss where concepts for improvements come from, when wireframes get created, when and how testing is conducted, and who handles each of the steps.

Speakers are Christian Manzella, a Senior User Experience Architect Manager at Lowe's; and John Dozier, a User Experience Architect - Research. According to ValueIs, Lowes.com receives 15-20 million page views a month. The site has a Google Page Rank of 7, which indicates it is a very popular site (the highest possible rank is 10).

Lowe's Companies, Inc. was founded in 1946 in North Wilkesboro, NC. They are headquartered in Mooresville, 20 miles north of Charlotte. Lowe's is the second-largest hardware chain in the U.S. (Wikipedia: Lowe's).
