Ways to improve UX interaction within cross-functional teams. You will often see in the job description for UX roles, the ability to work within or lead cross-functional teams. For many businesses this is now a common practice. However, it has its challenges and today more than ever, designers need to be able to navigate through the merging ideologies that inherently come with people from different roles working together.

Jamal is an experienced Sr. UX Manager at Optum, a healthcare tech company. With 15 years of UX design expertise and degrees from NCCU and NYIT, he's a certified professional since 2008.
