About our Facilitator

Erin Essex

Erin is a UX designer with a unique perspective shaped by her background in psychology and her experience as a neurodivergent individual. Diagnosed with dyslexia as a child, Erin developed exceptional problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail, which she now applies to her work in UX design. Her passion lies in creating human-centered, empathetic, and engaging digital experiences that cater to diverse users.

Erin's diverse experience spans various industries and organizations, including Google, where she currently works on the YouTube creator experience. Her previous roles at Google Ads, Shutterstock, and MongoDB have allowed her to hone her skills in AI, machine learning, and automation, contributing to her ability to craft innovative and impactful user experiences.

Erin's design philosophy revolves around understanding human behavior and leveraging technology to create intuitive, efficient, and enjoyable solutions. Her ultimate goal is to make people's lives better by designing products that are not only functional but also delightful to use.
