    PURPOSE:
    The Senior / Lead Mobile UI/UX Designer will use their passion for translating requirements and user needs to inform and design intuitive and compelling interfaces for Quintiles mobile products. This individual must have strong conceptual problem-solving skills, and understanding of an established brand. Effectively articulates even the most abstract ideas, and strives to keep the lines of communication open at every point throughout the process. Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a good handle on agile development methods.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Own significant UX/UI design responsibilities for mobile applications while maintaining the integrity of the Quintiles brand.
    • Execute UX-based projects to refine, develop and enforce interface design, branding and UX best practices.
    • Develop detailed deliverables and effectively communicate UX designs and product requirements to the development team and stakeholders.
    • Work closely with developers to translate user experience ideas into working components of the system
    • Effectively communicate findings and interface design principles to a cross-functional team including managers and developers
    • Provide subject-matter expertise and leadership through competitive analysis, best practice research, and overall knowledge of user experience industry trends
    • Collaborate with project contributors, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to create user-focused concepts and interactive solutions for mobile application interfaces, while maintaining the consistency and quality of the app.
    • Maintain knowledge of user interface processes, tools and best practices to achieve higher quality, lower costs and shorter time to market.
    • Maintain expert-level knowledge of competitive and complementary products and experiences.
    • Own and execute entire large-impact projects as assigned.

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
    • 5+ years’ experience performing user experience design and user research work on complex mobile native and browser-based applications
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design
    • Strong understanding of graphic design and mobile application development and interfaces (iPhone and Android platforms)
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
    • Business-to-Business (B2B) experience a plus, but not required
    • Demonstrated experience designing web, mobile, and desktop application interfaces
    • Solid understanding of user interaction design tools and techniques
    • Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills, and proven track record of presenting to and influencing stakeholders and senior management

    PURPOSE:

    Responsibilities
    • Drive the creative direction of the new digital experience, create an interaction model that is optimal across devices and digital channels

    In this role a candidate would be a UX designer who will design new and support on-going functional deliveries for the bank's trading & Client applications.

    The individual will be involved in projects working with multiple product areas to gather business requirements and propose solutions in order to help the business enhance its strategic risk and margin platform, and will be responsible for identifying, devising and documenting tactical and strategic solutions for Corporate Banking & Securities Technology within Deutsche Bank’s Global Technology organization.

    Responsibilities / Tasks:

    Responsible for managing and owning functional requirement track for the engagement.

    The program is divided into small, highly motivated, agile teams. Software deliveries are typically frequent and the team members are expected to keep sight of the ideal user experience solution while working

    towards it with smaller discrete drops over longer periods of time.

    The ideal candidates will have a background delivering the UX for web and desktop applications for

    Financial Services and/or large scale markets trading applications. You might describe yourself as an Experience Architect, Interaction Designer or User Researcher. Ideally, you’re part-interaction designer, part-information architect, part-usability expert, part-business analyst, part visual designer - and all user experience.

    We need strong professionals with excellent team and communication skills. You’ll appreciate good design aesthetics, handle pressure well, and easily adapt to new and complex business domains.

    Act as a key liaison between Deutsche Bank AS (Application Service) team, Vendor product manager

    Help drive best practices in and may tactically support highest priority releases and/or enhancements to

    large or critical systems.

    Implement best practices around requirement gathering methodologies and requirement documentation

    procedures

    Review and contribute to functional test plans and scenarios

    Participate and actively contribute during planning by providing technology view to the plans, issues,

    dependencies and risks and help drive the overall strategy.

    Provide absolute transparency to various stakeholders by implementing bank-standard reporting and

    tracking tools and making right escalations, at the appropriate times to the relevant stakeholders on key

    risks and mitigation actions.

    Experience:

    Proven experience developing and delivering commercially driven user experienced focused projects.

    Evidence of delivering commercially viable business solutions to meet customer needs.

    5-12 years’ experience with JavaScript, HTML, jQuery, AJAX, CSS

    Experience with GWT (Google Web Toolkit) is a must

    Experience working with Vaadin framework is a plus

    Comfortable sketching, wire framing, prototyping

    Solid understanding of UX and UI design with an emphasis on maximizing usability

    Have the ability to perform heuristic reviews of existing build

    Collaborative approach to design

    Strong Information Architecture experience with the ability to define and drive the overall process

    Strong visual design sensibilities, with experience of delivering visual specifications

    Ability to communicate effectively and the will to influence client strategy and perceptions

    Have experience of designing the UX for markets trading or other single dealer related systems

    Experience in writing functional specifications/ Business Requirements

    Experience with workflow applications and integration of platforms is a plus

    Experience managing diverse group of stakeholders, including business, operations and technology at

    different levels of the organization

    Ability to commit and prioritize work duties and tasks

    Proven communication skills / Fluent in English (written/verbal)

    The goal of any UX Strategist is to be the facilitator in capturing user’s needs and client goals to recommend and own the strategy of a project’s success.     -Experience gathering and documenting business, functional and end user requirements
    -Solid understanding of makeup and function of interactive websites, mobile apps, and web apps
    -Successful track record in conducting stakeholder interviews and running collaborative workshops
    -Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
    -Ability to work independently
    -Great attitude and plays well with others, collaboration is key
    -Passion for getting better and deeming a project success only when business and user goals are met

    Nice to have:
