    Be a member of the team that owns the design of all Relias products, serving the needs of our users and our business collaborators, while ensuring a useful, usable, and enjoyable user experience.


    WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

    • Contributing to product strategy by facilitating creative, intuitive user experience (UX) design within product teams and with stakeholders throughout the organization.
    • Translating concepts into user flows, wireframes, pixel-perfect user interface (UI) design mockups, and clickable prototypes, leveraging the capabilities (and constraints) of our Material-based design system.
    • Engaging with users to gain first-hand insights into our design solutions and be an advocate for iteration on their feedback.
    • Collaborating with the UX team and other design stakeholders in the organization to continually refine UX processes and resources.

    YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE: 

    • Ability to closely collaborate with product owners and other stakeholders on complex strategic challenges and detailed product requirements.
    • Outstanding visual UI design skills, with demonstrated aptitude for clean, clear, well-organized, functional UI spaces that serve professional users in business environments. 
    • Demonstrated experience delivering user experiences and user interfaces that serve the complex needs of business stakeholders and end users, and exceed their expectations.
    • Confident understanding of (and the ability to advocate for) UX design best practices, user-centered design (UCD), user testing, heuristic analysis, accessibility, and inclusion.
    • Commitment to iteration on designs with efficiency and intelligence, based on feedback from users and stakeholders. 
    • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented approach.
    • Empathy and aptitude to learn our diverse clients’ business, workflow, and day-to-day experience in order to better deliver impactful, intuitive solutions.
    • Three or more years of UX design experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments.

    We’re looking for a Senior UX Designer to join the Brooks Bell team! This role will be a team of one reporting to the UX Practice Lead, with potential to help hire and mentor junior designers as we grow.

    The Senior UX Designer works as an integrated part of a cross-functional team to identify experience optimization opportunities for our clients through quantitative and qualitative data analysis, and quickly produce variations of designs based on that data to help our clients test, learn, and iterate rapidly.

    The designer’s core functions include rapidly iterating on design ideas within a client’s current design and branding framework, performing UI design changes and creating prototypes in concert with development requirements, and presenting designs to internal and external stakeholders to elicit feedback for design refinement.

    Our clients will have multiple tests running at the same time in various stages, so the ideal candidate will be effective under pressure, have excellent time management skills, and be able to handle multiple projects at once across a variety of clients.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Modify client digital experiences, from low-resolution wireframes to development-ready prototypes.
    • Turn design deliverables around quickly and accurately, across a number of client accounts.

    Experience required:

    About the Role
    BitSight is seeking our first Senior UX Researcher to grow and expand our research practice.     • Create presentations, user journeys, personas, video clips and other artifacts to effectively communicate research findings, build empathy for users, and drive action
    • Gather and analyze quantitative data from surveys and usage tracking systems (e.g., Pendo).
    • Combine quantitative and qualitative data to provide a richer understanding. Mentor product designers to help them grow their research expertise.
    • Continuously improve research operations to improve quality, consistency, and efficiency of research practices.
    • Develop guidelines, templates, and processes.
    • Make research findings discoverable and usable over time and across teams.
    • Work with Legal, Security, Finance, and others as needed to ensure research practices are in compliance with their guidance.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Significant hands-on experience and proven results with several qualitative and quantitative UX research methods, including interviews, observation, usability testing, and surveys.
    • Hands-on experience with planning, executing, analyzing and reporting on UX research methods including interviews and usability testing.
    • Selects the most appropriate research method for the study goals.
    • Skilled at facilitating sessions with users: makes users comfortable, avoids bias, elicits useful data, manages time and technology well.
    • Ability to work on a highly collaborative UX Design team and to provide objective feedback on designs grounded in research.
    • Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced software development context.
    • Superior listening, observing, communication, and critical thinking skills.
    • Persuasive and storytelling skills to present results in a way that sparks action.
    • General knowledge of statistics as they relate to UX research methods.
    • Organized, curious, adaptable, and self-motivated to maintain a rapid research cadence with minimal supervision.
    • BA/BS degree in cognitive psychology, human-computer interaction, social sciences, or equivalent experience. Master’s degree desirable.
    • A portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with information architecture research methods such as card sorting, tree testing, and first click testing.
    • Experience using Figma, Sketch or similar tools to mock up proposed solutions.
    • Experience with Agile development.
    • Knowledge of Jobs to be Done framework.
