    We are looking for a UX Designer/Information Architect to work on highly personalized design projects that support investment products. In this role, you will work closely with our product and tech partners to deliver effective user experiences for a variety of strategic projects as well as providing ongoing incremental improvements to websites.


    • Deliver intuitive and simple user experiences for multiple platforms and applications

    • Collaborate with a team of information architects, visual designers prototypers, researchers, usability specialists to tackle complex projects of varying size

    • Define web site/application structures and create site maps, wireframes and user flows charts

    • Create key UXD deliverables such as wireframes, site-maps

    • Coordinate with the project team to test designs and experiences with our target audiences Requirements

    • 3-5 years of relevant UXD experience and a portfolio demonstrating relevant work

    • Experience with other financial services clients or other enterprise business environments preferred

    • Proficiency with visual design tools in the Adobe Suite including Photoshop and InDesign, Sketch

    • Experience with prototyping tools such as Axure and InVision

    • Working knowledge of CSS, HTML and front end development needs

    Serve as a key contributor and proponent of user-centered design within and outside the company

    6+ years of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design for multiple products, including experience in:

    • Leading and facilitating brainstorming sessions and workshops
      • User-centered design methods and techniques (e.g., user research and testing, data analysis, customer journey maps, etc.)
      • Designing for software applications for multiple platforms (e.g., web, mobile, desktop)
      • Working and collaborating in Agile development environments using management and issue tracking software (e.g., Jira)
    • Demonstrates high proficiency in creating low- to high-fidelity: wireframes, designs concepts, prototypes, and technical documentation using industry tools (e.g., Sketch, Adobe CreativeCloud, InVision, Axure, Microsoft Office).
    • Demonstrates a passion for design, our users, and collaboration with designers and cross-functional team members.

    The UX designer is responsible for creating the user experiences for new products and enhancements. This is a customer advocate role within project teams ensuring that products are useful, usable, and desirable via a thorough understanding and practice of the user centered design process.     • Experience in the role of a user experience researcher, defining and executing research that is able to measure the usability of digital interfaces and provide insights into possible ways to improve that performance, and defining and executing research that is able to identify user needs, both met and unmet
    • Experience in running a variety of user research methods, and experience in planning the experimental designs, authoring the moderator guides, conducting statistical analyses, and writing final reports

    Position Summary:
    The User Experience (UX) Designer will work with the Product Manager (PM) and engineering team to drive the product design process from conceptualization, detailed user interfaces, and functional design through implementation and usability review. The person in this role will be responsible for providing exceptional user experiences for Participate’s online learning platform. his role will work closely with the engineering team to inform functional features and products through design work and user research.     + Create and run processes for agile design sprints.
