The Triangle UXPA was founded in 2005 and is the Triangle chapter of the User Experience Professionals Association. We are focused on building and supporting the local community of practitioners who focus on crafting great user experiences.
Have you ever felt like the only UXer around? Have you ever felt vastly outnumbered by Development and everyone else? If so, July's book is for you.
July's book is "The User Experience Team of One" by Leah Buley, which has been a very popular book with UXers. Please come join the discussion!

Do you want to learn more about how others are practicing UX or what their process is like? Triangle UXPA along with exploreUX is hosting a lightning talk on UX Process.
Lightning talks are condensed, fast-paced presentations, where each presenter is given 5 minutes to present 20 slides and slides advance every 15 seconds. It sounds intense, but is a lot of fun.
This event’s topic is about activities in the UX process and each speaker's presentation will be focused on one part of their UX process. For example, how they create wireframes, techniques on usability testing, etc.
We're looking for presenters!! If you're interested in presenting a lightning talk, feel free to submit your talk idea to us at: http://bit.ly/triuxpa-talk. Submissions are due by Monday, June 29th, 11:50pm EDT.
To RSVP, visit exploreUX's meetup page: http://www.meetup.com/exploreUX-raleigh/events/223251483/
